This Privacy Policy explains how Arcworks Technologies PTE. LTD. ("Mise," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Mise mobile app and related services.

Mise is a cooking companion that helps users import recipes from the web and supported public social sources, adapt them for cooking mode, and use them across iPhone and Apple Watch.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide Through the App

When you use Mise, we may collect information such as:

  • recipe links and other content you choose to share into Mise
  • imported recipe content, including recipe titles, ingredients, steps, and images when available
  • saved recipe information such as favorites, recents, and cooking session state
  • preferences and onboarding selections you choose in the app
  • messages you send to us for support or feedback

Information Collected Automatically

We may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including:

  • device-level identifiers used to operate the service
  • app activity related to imports, recipe access, subscriptions, and cooking sessions
  • technical information needed to support app functionality, reliability, and security

Subscriptions

If you purchase or restore a subscription, we may receive subscription status and related transaction information from Apple and our subscription provider. We do not collect or store your full payment card details.

How We Use Information

We use information we collect to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain Mise
  • process recipe imports and generate cooking-mode recipe content
  • sync recipe and session information across supported devices
  • support subscriptions, restore purchases, and enforce product access rules
  • understand usage and improve the app, product experience, and performance
  • respond to support requests and communicate with you
  • protect the security, integrity, and reliability of the service

How We Share Information

We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. We may share information with vendors that help us operate the service, such as hosting, analytics, subscription, and content-processing providers.
  • Subscription processing. We use Apple and RevenueCat to support in-app subscriptions and entitlement management.
  • Recipe import processing. We may use third-party services to help process supported imported content, such as supported social-source imports.
  • Legal or safety reasons. We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, protect our rights, or address fraud, abuse, or security issues.
  • Business transfers. We may transfer information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.

Analytics and Tracking

We use analytics to better understand how Mise is used and to improve the app and user experience.

We do not use information collected through Mise for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Notifications

Mise may use notifications to support product functionality, such as helping you continue a cooking session across devices. Notifications are optional and can be managed in your device settings.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, and improve Mise, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the security and integrity of the service.

If you contact us to request deletion, we will delete or de-identify your information unless we need to retain certain data for legal, security, or legitimate business purposes.

Your Choices

You can control certain information directly in the app, such as saved recipe behavior and notification permissions. You may also contact us to request deletion of your data or to ask privacy questions.

Children's Privacy

Mise is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information processed through Mise. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
